I bought this recliner cover to replace one that had been abused through normal wear and tear (including 2 cats and a few rambunctious granddogs). I was expecting this one only to last long enough to get the chair reupholstered. I have now had it over two years, and it has held up amazingly well. The reason for this review is because for the last few months this cover has been subjected to the violence of a young kitten, who bites and/or claws at it regularly. However, there are no bite marks, claw scratches, or tears in the material. In addition, it mostly stays in place. I only have to adjust the corners once in a while when she gets a little feisty with it.As far as fit goes, it fits my glider/rocker/recliner quite well. It's not perfect, but looks good enough that my daughter-in-law at first thought it was the original chair, not a cover. Photos were taken at the time of this review, and include the guilty party!This cover has been worth every penny I paid for it. Thank you for a product that lives up to its hype.
