After reading a few reviews from Amazon & other stores stating the chair leans to far back & hard to put together I decided to purchase it anyway. So putting it together was easy enough. You basically you have to attached the back and side pieces. Now for the leaning part, yes it does lean back to far in just a sitting position. I am 5'4" and if I sit all the way back in the chair my feet don't touch the ground which for me is fine since I wanted it as a recliner. I will have to purchase a pillow for the back so that I can sit upright a little more. The material is a little scratchy but overall I like the chair and glad I purchased it. I can't comment on how long it will last since I have had it a little over a week.
