OK, that headline may be a deterrent to some people buying this but that was the point of the purchase. I'm always looking for ways to keep the cats off the furniture and this was a total home run. I bought the 3 x 5 as a "play area" and they are absolutely glued to this rug. It's easy to vacuum and when one of them threw up on it I easily cleaned it with some soap and water.It's not my taste as a decorative rug but I will say it's easy to keep clean, it didn't smell (and I'm very sensitive to odors) and the quality seems very good. I would recommend it for what ever you want it for.came with easy rollout and was able to install around sink and toilet easily. Not bad for 77 yrs, Really am happy to get packages from amazon. No "surprises". Good quality and prompt delivery. What more can I say. They located across the street from me.It’s a standard plush and soft grey/silver rug. Thick enough for my kids to play on comfortably. Bought one in 2021 and it’s still in perfect condition. Just bought a second one for my baby’s bedroom.Love these rugs. I purchased four in different sizes. The only problem I had is that one of them is a little too thick for my door to open over it but I put it somewhere else. These are great quality!!!The mushroom color doesn’t match the picture because it actually is made up of a bunch of different color threads. But it hides dirt well. I had to get a gym mat to put underneath it in order to be able to sit on it. It’s not plush enough for a comforter if you have wooden floors. But I will have to say, it is really overpriced. $165 for this rug is really not worth it. But it looks like the rug market for anything higher quality is pricey.I’m so glad I finally got this rug after eyeing it for months. Super soft, lovely color annnddd my Roomba 7 gets up on it and cleans it! It sheds a teeeny tiny bit and it’s really just a stray thread here and there, not fluff.This rug arrived quicker than expected and is an amazing addition to the room. It is plush and soft and extremely thick, so didn't need a pad underneath. It rolled out and laid on the floor with no curved edges. The color was also exactly what it showed online. Very happy with this purchase.I had to air out the rug for a week, in the sunshine, before the very strong chemical smell decreased to tolerable. Otherwise, really, really like the rug. Bought the gray and it's a beautiful color. Our 2 Great Danes love lying on it. Mr G.leeBEST shag rug!!! After chintzing out on cheaper equivalent from Wayfair, I was left with a smelly, sparse, and sad excuse of a shag rug. Ended up returning the wayfair one and biting the bullet with this one (which was a good 100 dollars more). Worth. Every. Penny. The quality clearly reflects its price. So dense and plush and soo comfy to sit on around a coffee table for game nights. Will never buy another brand of shag rug again.I appreciated some of the previous reviews adding pictures. This helped me in my decision on what color to choose. I was looking for two area rugs in this size to place on each side of a bed. This room is in the basement is multipurpose as a spare / craft room. The pictures I am adding show the color variation of the white furniture and bedspread along with the floral area rug that is front of a loveseat. The complimentary color of the shag rugs and the larger area rug goes well, and is a soft contrast to the white. I was concerned that the shag rugs might slide on the vinyl plank flooring, but they only move slightly when being vacuumed. I think carpet grips would fix this, but it is not a bother. These have been in place now for a couple of months and I am pleased with the overall quality. The local flooring centre said I would not find area rugs in this size. Guess they were wrong.J’ai mis un 4 car il n’est pas cher et est très blanc comme je le voulais. Mais il est mal coupé! Il manque un morceau dans l’angle. Je l’ai bien aligné sur les lattes du parquet pour m’en assurer. C’est dommage. Si je l’avais payé plus cher, j’aurais mis un 3. Je crois aussi qu’un sous tapis est nécessaire car il fait « cheap » comparativement à mes autres tapis. Mais pour ce prix, il ne faut pas trop se plaindre car il a belle allure. Les poils ne sont pas très fournis, mais comme ils sont longs, ça ne se voit pas.
